This butterfly metamorphosis is a great example of how sound design should marry seamlessly with the music; where the lines between the two are blurred. Score by Daniel Pemberton.

This sequence was silent except for Daniel Pemberton score, so by sampling and manipulating different sounds; Filing cabinet drawers, alarms, hoovers, slowed down camera zooms etc. I created a believable slaughter house environment that sat nicely alongside the music.
